Whilst working at Construct London, we were asked to create a limited edition book to exclusively gift to members to the newly opening private members club in Palm Beach, FL.
The clubhouse is defined by the highest level of quality, service and design. It’s sophisticated, yet playful; an immersive environment designed to connect and enjoy the splendour of the Palm Beach lifestyle. There are moments of surprise and delight at every corner, from striking architecture and interior design details, to exceptional cuisine and unparrelled experiential programming. The Club integrates elements of whimsey, wit and a sense of wanderlust at every twist and turn.
The book we designed embodies the character of Carriage House and the people that are part of it. An eclectic mix of sophisticated American made typefaces, adorned with unexpected animal ornaments, gold foiled architectural details, bespoke dust jacket with an aperture influenced by the elegant decor, and metallic gold end papers filled with creatures great and small; all cased in a slipcase with Johnnie Brown – the architect Addison Mizner’s pet monkey – holding the golden key.
